Anar Alimov, Microsoft Corporation Software Development Engineer has given presentation on “Career opportunities for software engineers outside Azerbaijan” in Khazar University conference room under CES Seminars program. Approximately 30 computer engineering students and junior engineers were attended in this seminar.
The main and actual topic was on recruitment process for overseas companies for computer engineers, as similar to other disciplines, IT (information technology) engineers could be hired directly after university as a graduate or experienced engineer. Briefly strong academic background and international recognized work experienced engineers are preferred by huge overseas companies as Microsoft, Facebook, and Apple etc hiring processes are usually transparent and conducted amongst high competitive candidates, they should pass all technical tests and interview stages. Having professional network is also helpful l to be updated all recent technologies, requirements to follow international market, thus, Linkedin, Xing and et was recommended by Anar to get registered.
