Caspian Engineers Society is awarded in “People” category of engineering award ceremony that has been held by BP in 10th February 2010 in Park Inn hotel. BP AzSPU holds annual engineering award ceremony in each year. The aim of the ceremony is to understand engineering capabilities of the company, the challenges that engineers face, and what needs to be done in order to develop world class engineering capability within the company. BP way of engineering is described in the ceremony. Speeches followed with awards at the end of the day.

This year 91 nominees have been nominated in 5 different categories. “People” category was one of them. It recognises the people who have done a great job that is purely the performance and proactive ability of these people which has a step up effect to engineering development within the organisation. Caspian Engineers Society awarded in “People” category as the best people who did a great job in a short period of time. It is told that, these people achieved to a wider engineering population, build the bridge between university students and the engineers that are currently working in an organisation. This elevated the knowledge transfer, created a good foundation for potential new hires.CES is proud of winning the award in such a challenging competition. This hard work is recognised by BP senior engineering managers. This award is the proof of they do deliver what they promised to deliver, they are professional, they are hard workers, and the most important is they engineer the future!CES recognises following people’s contribution: Yusifov Elnur, Memmedaga Mehdiyev, Mammadjafar Mammadov, Samadli Vugar, Shahin Verdiyev, Majid Samadov, Vusal Shafiyev, Farid Ibrahimkhalilov, Tural Badirkhanli, Teymurkhanli Shahin, Azizov Rufat, Alakbarov Lachin and Bashirov Elkhan.

Approximately 30 computer engineering students and junior engineers were attended in this seminar.
