CES held Annual Review and Winter Camp Closing Ceremony in Hyatt Regency 13th February 2010. CES started ceremony with presentation about the aim and strategy of the organization, projects that is ongoing and also announce upcoming CES projects. Technical seminars, excursions, summer & winter engineering schools, MAYAK, technical support activities, in depended educational assessments and discussion club projects were covered during brief presentation.
Then event was continued with video about winter engineering camp. Winter Camp for university students held between 1st February and 7th February at Qafqaz University as a residential based. 24 Students were selected among up to 300 applications. Selection process started with review of CVs, and then followed with examination and interview. During the program various topics were presented by professional engineers who are graduated from world wide well known universities like Manchester University, Florida University, Moscow State University, METU, etc, and all are working in engineering companies with sufficient experience. Engineering debates, team works were valuable parts of the program. Students enjoyed visiting Baku Oil Fabric of the Azersun ltd, they got the appreciation of technology in industry and its application. SOCAR held meeting with winter camp students to give some information about national oil company and the need to engineers in the company. Winter camp project talked a lot in the ceremony.

The guests demonstrated their pleasure to see achievements of CES in their speech and promised their support to CES to develop professional engineering network in the region. The ceremony followed with awarding the students with CES winter camp certificates and CES t-shirts. CES representative passed his thanks to guests on behalf of the CES. In the end guests were invited to tea table.The ceremony was lighted to the public by TV via AzTV, ITV and XEZER TV. In their interviews to TV, students shared their perceptions about the program. CES representatives expressed the aim and mission of the organization, the need to engineering in the region and importance of engineering community.
Anar Alimov, Microsoft Corporation Software Development Engineer has given presentation on “Career opportunities for software engineers outside Azerbaijan” in Khazar University conference room under CES Seminars program. Approximately 30 computer engineering students and junior engineers were attended in this seminar.
